About Us

Hi there! We’re Jamie and Alex, two board gaming enthusiasts who, by fluke of coincidence found out that one lived in the village the other one was moving into and that we both enjoyed board games. However, it took nearly a year to actually connect and set up our first board gaming evening. We decided that there needs to be an easier way for board and table top gamers to set up and find local groups as well as organise board game catch ups and game nights. So we came up with Dice and Meeples, social platform for gamers.

We’d like to reward our early members by giving them a chance to own Dice and Meeples in the future.

How it all began

We are well aware that it takes more than just two guys with a great idea to make great things happen and as such we would like to give our early community the chance to share in the ownership of Dice and Meeples. For as long as we can we will endeavor to maintain Dice and Meeples a free platform. Hopefully at some point it will become necessary to establish a company to run and manage financial aspects of running a social platform. and when we do, we will set aside 20% of the shares at the time of incorporation to be distributed among the 1000 regular users with the lowest membership User_ID. In other words the thousand people who have been using the platform regularly and the longest will have a chance to share the ownership of the community they have helped establish.
